A Solo Show in Development
Sandcastle is a piece of work that I made during 2023 on my masters course. The story centres around a morally bankrupt business woman as she tries to cure the panic attacks circling her crumbling business. We discover that she is a vulture of the well intentioned, profiting from environmental anxiety by greenwashing her business. The media splits open Mary's deception and she is left to watch her small empire fall apart. Centred specifically around breath research, ocean pollution and a commentary on ill-fated good intentions, 'Sandcastle' is currently in development with plans to take it to fringe festivals in 2025.
